Image manipulation has long been a constant in our society. Institutions and powerful actors have altered images to forward narratives and shift discourses. Image manipulation through black boxes, low resolution, and pixels have slowly been introduced in the realm of satellite imagery. It starts with military bases and parliaments in the name of security. But what are the limits? What if the agenda shifts towards you?
OMEN Forecasting Tomorrow

Weather is getting more extreme; summers are getting more prolonged and heatwaves more frequent. Dasht-e Lut, Iran is in 2021 an omen of future climate. By studying this unique region, are we able to better prepare for the weather of tomorrow? The way of life in the Dasht-e Lut will soon be the norm; let’s face it now.
